Throughout most of human history our ancestors lived well
off of the bounty they harvested from the local landscape. Wild
edible plants can provide an economical, highly nutritious, and deeply rewarding
supplement to your family's diet.
Highlights:
- Learn how to safely identify, harvest, and prepare
nutritious wild Spring edibles from your own neighborhood.
- No experience is necessary to learn several safe, common,
easily identified wild edible plants.

- Hands-on workshop with opportunities to sample some wild
edible plants.
- Open to the general public; you do not need to be a member of Cincinnati Trackers to participate.
Participants should bring:
- A notebook and pencils (colored pencils can be helpful)
- A camera (if you have one)
Where:
- Milford, OH (just east of Cincinnati along I-275)
- The morning lecture and afternoon food preparation will be at Erik's home.
- The field studies and gathering will be conducted outside
so come prepared for the weather.
