Throughout most of human history our ancestors lived well
off of the bounty they harvested from the local landscape. Wild
edible plants can provide an economical, highly nutritious, and deeply rewarding
supplement to your family's diet.
Highlights:
- Learn how to safely identify, harvest, and prepare
nutritious wild summer edibles from your own neighborhood.
- No experience is necessary to learn several safe, common,
easily identified wild edible plants.

Skills Institute
- Hands-on workshop with opportunities to sample some wild
edible plants.
Participants should bring:
- A notebook and pencils (colored pencils can be helpful)
- Lunch and a water bottle
Where:
- Milford, OH (just east of Cincinnati along I-275)
- The morning lecture will likely be at Erik's home.
- The afternoon field studies will be conducted outside
so come prepared for the weather.
